Rationale

exam

Students in Year 10 and 11 will undertake exams twice a year. Special exam timetables are developed by the College for these exam periods and exams are taken in the Senior Centre. These exams are important in providing students with an opportunity to experience a full exam program long before their Year 12 year.  They will learn what it is like to study and prepare for multiple exams in a short period of time.  The exam program also provides the opportunity for students to learn what it is to perform under the pressure of a time frame without the assistance of peers or their teacher.  These exams are not intended to be the final measure of a student’s learning but maybe used to verify a teacher’s other assessments.

Students studying VCE Units 3 and 4 will undertake exams according to the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA).  The timetable can be found at http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/vce/exams/timetable.aspx#timetable
