Awards Night

Students who achieve high academic results and those that are top of the class for each subject, are nominated by staff for Academic Achievement Awards each semester. Students who exemplify the values required to receive special awards are nominated by staff in Semester 2.

In Semester 1, Students in Year 7 who receive four or more subject awards, and students in Year 8, 9, 10 and 11 who receive three or more subject awards, are invited to attend a relatively informal mid-year awards ceremony that is held in the College theatre.

At the end of the year, we collect the Semester 2 award nominations and students who earn enough awards in both semesters are invited to receive them at our formal Awards Night at Robert Blackwood Hall, Monash University, Clayton.

At the end of year Awards Night we also celebrate:

• A range of major awards for academic excellence, community involvement, sporting excellence and outstanding work in the performing arts.
• The most outstanding student in each of the learning areas in each year level from 7 to 10
• The most outstanding student in each of the Unit 1 and 2 subjects
• The most outstanding students in VET and the Applied Learning Excellence Award (VM)

This Awards Night is a tremendous celebration of student achievement throughout the year.
