Training in Action

The Wantirna College coffee van provides Vocational Major students with the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in running a business. Each year students undertake a certificate in Barista and Food Handling in the CBD and then run the van for information evenings, school tours and other social events such as production.

The coffee is delicious and the coffee van is very popular with parents and guests! Of course, having barista skills is a much-valued skillset that our VM students can utilise in jobs and vocations beyond.
