The development of leadership skills in students is an important feature of a well rounded education. Our teachers work hard to give students opportunities to develop their leadership skills through classroom and specialist programs.
Student Representative Council
The Student Representative Council works with, and represents, their peers to facilitate student voice, thereby improving the experience of students at Wantirna College.
Student Leadership Opportunities
We offer a range of formal leadership positions, including many Captaincy roles, that students can apply for which give them the chance to further develop and enhance their skills whilst leading their peers.
School for Student Leadership
The School for Student Leadership (SSL) is a Victorian Department of Education school specialising in leadership education for students in Year 9. Each year, selected Wantirna College students attend the Snowy River Campus situated in Marlo, Victoria for one school term.
