Student Leadership Opportunities

There is a range of formal leadership positions that students can apply for that give them the chance to further develop and enhance their skills whilst leading their peers.  All formal leadership positions have a process of nomination and selection which varies depending on the role.  The positions include:

• Student Representative Council (SRC) Executive team
• Student Representatives on College Council
• College Captains
• VCE VM Captains
• Year Level Captains
• Learning Area Captains:
  • Maths, English, Science/STEM, Humanities, Languages
  • Performing Arts, Production
  • Sports
  • Art & Technology
• House Captains
• Inclusion, Wellbeing Captains
• Library Captains
• Environment Captains
• iCan Challenge Captains

Student Leaders meet formally with the Principal Team or Leading Staff on a regular bases to discuss ideas and future directions for the school. They may also run assemblies, MC at events, represent the College at off-site events and help promote the school.

Student Leaders model the behaviours expected of all students and represent the College in a positive way. They foster connections and are always available to assist or represent their peers.
