Digital Resources

Students in all year levels require a laptop.  For 2024, the recommended student laptop is a Lenovo 13W.

Each year, the Wantirna College IT department research and recommend the best laptop for families to lease through the College laptop program. Laptops are leased through a third party at a very competitive rate.

Students who lease their laptop through the College laptop program will have full access to both software and hardware technical support including:

  • Set up of new laptop with all programs used by the College
  • IT assistance
  • Loan device
  • Warranty assistance

Our objective is to ensure minimum disruption to your student’s digital learning.  For this reason, we strongly encourage families to take advantage of the College laptop program.

Please note that we are unable to offer a loan device, warranty assistance, hardware support and some software assistance for devices that have not been purchased through the College laptop program.

Students who study Mathematics in Year 11 and 12 will require a Graphic Calculator TI-inspire.

Booklists

Booklists for the following year are published in Term 4.  Due to the expense of the laptop, textbook purchases are kept to a minimum.  In Year 7 and 8 students will be required to purchase the novels for English, textbooks for their Language study and a Humanities text.

All items of the Booklist are available through Campion Books accessible via the link below
