Core Curriculum
Our curriculum is carefully designed to suit students' developmental and academic needs whilst providing significant choice for students as they move through the college.
Students are supported by teachers and our Pathways Counsellors when selecting their electives. Families are encouraged to attend our annual Curriculum & Pathways Information Evening in Term 3.
Years 7–8:
- Students follow a broad program based on the Victorian Curriculum F–10.
- They study a wide range of subjects, building strong skills in English (literacy) and Maths (numeracy), while exploring areas like Science, Arts, Technology, Humanities, Languages, and PE.
- They also develop key skills such as critical thinking, ethical understanding, cultural awareness, and personal/social skills across all subjects.
Years 9–10:
- Students continue core subjects but can choose electives, giving them more agency over their learning.
- The significant range of Electives available in all learning areas allows students to explore interests and strengths and prepare for senior studies.
VCE/VM (Senior Years):
- Students can select from many VCE pathways options and subject choices enabling them to specialize in subjects they enjoy from different learning areas.
- Programs include teacher support and flexible pathways to help students reach their goals.
- Focus is on both academic achievement and real-world skills to prepare for life after school.
