The Humanities include History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship and Economics and Business

Humanities is a core subject in Year 7 and 8. Students will undertake units related to each of the four strands across their two year study of Humanities.

From Year 9 students are encouraged to explore the specific strands of Humanities that have interested them the most in year 7 and 8. These elective options lead into core and elective options at Year 10 that are designed to assist in developing a strong foundation for further VCE study.

VCE:  Students may undertake a range of studies across disciplines including:

  • Accounting
  • Business Management
  • Geography
  • History – 20th Century History (Unit 1 and 2)
  • History – Revolutions (Unit 3 and 4)
  • Legal Studies

 High Achieving Year 10 students may also apply to undertake an Early Start VCE subject.
